Stonington, Maine sea scallops are so delicious. Like our lobster, the flavor is unparalleled: sweet and briny, with an amazing silky texture.
These beauties are shucked on-board local day boats. We size grade, freeze, and vacuum seal.
IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) 2 lb. bags are frozen in a resealable pouch & you can remove frozen scallops one at a time to prepare. Traditional 1 lb. block-frozen sea scallops are also available.

Description
Each 2lb. IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) bag contains approximately 36-40 scallops (around 8 servings, depending on appetite).
Remove desired quantity and thaw in refrigerator overnight. Do not refreeze.
Optional: we recommend removing the side muscle from each scallop before cooking to maximize consistent texture.
