We are the first company to produce a product like this. Processed in the same method as our lobster, these Maine Mussels are completely RAW & SHUCKED, before being flash frozen, making enjoying them incredibly easy to enjoy with no waste!
WHY SO BROWN?! These mussels are processed in the spring, when their meat is at it’s seasonal fullest/finest. During this time, mussels are feeding on red algae, which tints the liquid, but imparts no negative flavor.
Each bag contains: 2lbs. JUST $15/LB.

Description
These raw mussels are High Pressure Processed (HPP) which allows the meat to be extracted from shells TOTALLY RAW! We then vacuum-seal in 2lb bags and flash freeze.
Allow to thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Gently empty thawed meat into a colander and allow to drain (DO NOT PRESS OR SQUEEZE THE MEAT– this will negatively affect the taste and texture of the finished product). Allow to drain in the colander for a few minutes, mussels are then ready to cook.
